Assemblies of God UK 2016-11-01T13:52:27+00:00

Assemblies of God is a Classical Pentecostal movement which came into existence following an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the turn of the 20th century in which thousands of Christians experienced the Baptism in the Spirit. It was formed in 1924 and from those early days, leaders and Churches worked for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

Today Assemblies of God UK has over 1,000 leaders and more than 600 churches with many specialised departments working in Church Planting, Social Concern, Children’s and Youth ministries, World Ministries and Bible College training.

Assemblies of God UK is a member of the Assemblies of God World Fellowship, The Evangelical Alliance, Free Council of Churches and the World Pentecostal Fellowship.

The purpose of Assemblies of God UK is to give every man, woman and child the opportunity of understanding the gospel and to provide a church where they can grow in ministry for the glory of God.

Being part of a network of churches provides spiritual and practical support, accountability, fellowship, encouragement and training.
