Chris was born in Leicester and moved with his family to Singapore where he lived throughout his childhood. He was introduced to Christianity at an early age by his parents and has been part of a local church ever since. As a teenager and young adult Chris joined YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in America and worked across the UK for the Pais Project, which is a christian organisation that works with schools and delivers youth work. Chris has also worked in many areas within a local church setting and now enjoys serving New Horizon Church, along side his wife Leonnie and two children Samson and Reuben. Chris and Leonnie are passionate about seeing people of all ages reach their full potential in God and reaching out to lost, hurting and people in need.
Chris studied at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he gained a medical diploma in Learning Disabilities. He currently works as an autism specialist at a short breaks service for children with learning disabilities.
Chris has recently joined the New Horizon staff team and has become the Kids Church Director, Church Discipleship Organiser and Youth Support Co-ordinator. He is also involved in Leading the Young Adults group and plays drums in the Worship team.
In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, tennis and football. He also likes collecting coins which he is not embarrassed to admit! He supports Liverpool FC but is now considering supporting Leicester City due to being born there!
