Carol was born in Nottingham and spent her childhood in Nuthall. She attended Kimberley Comprehensive School and Clarendon College in Nottingham doing a secretarial course. She then worked for a high street bank. She now works part time at a solicitor’s office in Nottingham.
Carol met her husband Les in February 1999 after a powerful encounter with God. Carol attended an Alpha Course and 2 months later made a decision to become a Christian. They married in September 2000 and started attending the Church shortly after. Carol was baptised in 2003.
Carol is involved in helping with the Food Bank in the local community and also with her husband working in Thailand each year working on different projects. Just a few of the projects they have been involved in are working in an orphanage, giving out supplies to refugees, building toilets, putting in electricity and a water supply into a school, building a sports court in a village and building storage tanks for water at a children’s home.
Carol and her husband Les have always felt that God has put them together for a purpose. They both believe in making a difference in people’s lives wherever they are.
